Uranus is the planet of revolution, sudden change, and the future. Uranus brings in what is new, in a sudden and unexpected manner. Uranus' influence is lightning-fast. Uranus is named for Ouranos, the Greek sky god.

Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun. Uranus takes 84 years to travel through all twelve signs of the zodiac. It is in each sign for about 7 years.
