Buddha of the Seven Rays

This Buddha is the result of an assignment given in my esoteric astrology class to create a Buddha image for the Wesak Festival (Taurus full moon). The colors used are those associated with the Seven Rays. The Buddha has twelve-petalled lotuses at his heart, throat, and third eye chakras. He is also sitting on a twelve-petalled lotus. His gold five-pointed soul star is above his head.

The Wesak Festival is celebrated every Taurus Full Moon, in May. It is part of a new religion for the Aquarian age, linking East and West. At the Wesak Festival, celebrated in the Himalayas and by esotericists everywhere, a blessing comes to the world through the Buddha. This blessing is held by the Christ, who distributes it to all the kingdoms of the world at the Festival of Humanity (Gemini full moon).
