I manipulated this version of the image in Photoshop to render it less photographic, more painterly. The colors I have chosen are meant to evoke a serene emotional state and are obviously not meant to look natural. This is one of my favorite spots along 17 Mile Drive, since I enjoy both the natural shapes of the trees and rocks, and the architectural shapes of this particularly spectacular house.
