Halloween has always been one of my favorite parts of the year.  I love to create an imaginative costume, then dress up in it and become someone else for a night.  I enjoy carving pumpkins and decorating the house.  My friend Mike and I carved these pumpkins last year, and they just spontaneously started glowing with this eerie green light.  The strange light attracted my feline companion, who isn't very scary at all, except for the sounds she makes.  That cat howls like a banshee at feeding time.  If you ever want to be scared, come to my house and listen to my cat when she is hungry.  What a blood-curdling noise that is!
