Undulating Tile Benches at Parc Güell image copyright 1985, 1991, 1999, Laura Perkins   I created this piece in 1991 from a photograph I took in 1985 at Parc Güell in Barcelona.  This shows a portion of the undulating tile benches in this park designed by Antoni Gaudi.  I love the organic, curving shapes of Gaudi's work.  Barcelona is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited, and it certainly would not be the same without the architechture and public art of Gaudi.
